Resize Image keeps the complete file workflow inside this browser tab. Your selected file, its name, contents, settings, and generated output are not sent to AntiUpload or a cloud conversion service. Ads and aggregate traffic analytics stay outside the processing boundary and receive no file object or working buffer.
Resize Image combines ready-made social presets with precise width, height, fit-box, longest-edge, percentage, cover-crop, and fit-and-pad modes. You can also rotate, mirror, flip, adjust brightness, contrast and saturation, convert to grayscale, choose a resampling method, change format, and target a maximum file size in the same local workflow.

Many sites require specific dimensions (e.g. 400x400 for LinkedIn). Resize to fit.
Shrinking phone photos before sharing
Modern phones take 12-24 MP photos. For messaging or social sharing, 1080-pixel wide is plenty.
Matching website layout requirements
A blog post template might require 1200×630 hero images. Resize to spec.
Fitting photos under an upload size limit
Job portals, government forms, and image hosts often cap dimensions and file size. Pick the required dimensions, switch to JPEG or WebP, and add an optional KB target to satisfy both constraints in one pass.
Resizing iPhone HEIC photos for the web
Drop a HEIC straight from your camera roll, cap its longest edge to something web-friendly like 1600px, and save it out as JPEG or WebP — resize and format change in a single pass, no separate converter needed.

Frequently asked questions
Is it safe to resize private or sensitive images here?
Yes. Your images are processed entirely in your browser and are never uploaded to any server, so nothing leaves your device. You can confirm this by checking the Network tab or disconnecting from the internet after the page loads. Input files are read from browser memory and the output is created locally for your download. AntiUpload does not send file bytes, names, sizes, page counts, contents, passwords, or generated outputs through analytics or advertising requests.
Does resizing preserve aspect ratio?
Yes. Percentage, width, height, fit-box, and longest-edge modes preserve the original aspect ratio. For exact dimensions, choose cover-and-crop to fill the canvas or fit-and-pad to keep the whole image and fill the unused space with your chosen color.
Can I enlarge images?
Yes, but results will be blurry — upsampling cannot invent detail that was never captured. Avoid enlarging more than 2x for acceptable quality.
What format is the output?
You choose. There's an Output Format setting: keep the source format, or switch to JPEG, PNG, or WebP in the same step — no need to run Convert Image separately. Resizing always re-encodes the pixels, so the result is a fresh, high-quality image in whatever format you pick. JPEG and WebP also get a quality slider; PNG stays lossless.
Can I resize multiple images at once?
Yes. You can load a batch of images and resize them all in one go, then download the results together. Since everything runs in your browser, even large batches never leave your device.
Can I resize HEIC photos from my iPhone?
Yes. HEIC and HEIF files are supported, so you can resize iPhone photos directly without converting them first. As with every format, the resizing happens locally in your browser.
Can I resize an image to exact dimensions?
Yes. Pick "Exact size (cover and crop)" to fill a precise width and height, or "Exact size (fit and pad)" to keep the entire image on a colored canvas. For portal limits, choose JPEG or WebP and enter an optional KB target; the quality search keeps your requested pixel dimensions fixed.
How do I resize an image by its longest edge?
Choose the "Longest edge" mode and enter a pixel value. Whichever side is longer (width or height) gets bounded to that number, and the shorter side scales proportionally. This is the simplest way to cap a photo's size for email or uploads without having to know whether it's landscape or portrait.
Can I change the file format while resizing?
Yes. The Output Format setting lets you keep the source format or output JPEG, PNG, or WebP in the same step, so you don't need a separate convert tool. For lossy formats (JPEG, WebP) there's a quality slider; PNG is lossless.
