About Adjust Video Color

Adjust Video Color keeps the complete file workflow inside this browser tab. Your selected file, its name, contents, settings, and generated output are not sent to AntiUpload or a cloud conversion service. Ads and aggregate traffic analytics stay outside the processing boundary and receive no file object or working buffer.

AntiUpload's Adjust Video Color tool provides six direct image controls plus Neutral, Vivid, Mono, Warm, Cool, and Faded presets. The selected look stays identified until a slider or exact numeric edit changes it to Custom.

The controls run in a fixed order so presets and previews are repeatable: brightness, contrast, saturation, grayscale, sepia, then hue rotation. A muted local preview uses the exact encoder filter builder, and Compare original removes that filter temporarily for before/after review.

Current Chrome, Edge, and Safari use WebCodecs and Canvas 2D on the device. The corrected display-dimension path preserves the visible frame size even when the source codec carries padded coded dimensions, and the original audio is carried into the adjusted MP4.

How it works

  1. Choose MP4, MOV, or M4VThe browser decodes your video locally. Other containers can be converted to MP4 first.
  2. Pick a preset or tune controlsStart with one of six identified looks, then use sliders or exact numeric entry for brightness, contrast, saturation, grayscale, sepia, and hue.
  3. Preview and comparePlay the adjusted local preview and toggle Compare original. Neutral resets every control without stacking effects.
  4. Apply adjustmentsEvery frame is painted through the same previewed filter chain and hardware-encoded into MP4 with its audio.

When to use Adjust Video Color

Lift a dark indoor recording
Increase brightness modestly, then add contrast so shadows rise without flattening the picture.
Create a clean monochrome version
Use the Mono preset, then fine-tune contrast for documents, interviews, or archival footage.
Reduce an oversaturated phone clip
Lower saturation while keeping brightness and contrast near neutral.
Match a warmer or cooler visual tone
Start with Warm or Cool and adjust hue rotation and saturation to suit the scene.

Frequently asked questions

Does the video upload for processing?
No. Decoding, filters, encoding, and MP4 assembly all run on your device in the browser. Input files are read from browser memory and the output is created locally for your download. AntiUpload does not send file bytes, names, sizes, page counts, contents, passwords, or generated outputs through analytics or advertising requests.
Does color adjustment change the video resolution?
No. The output uses the source display width and height. Codec padding such as a 180-pixel image stored in a taller coded frame is not mistaken for visible content.
Is the audio changed?
The visual frames are re-encoded because their pixels change, but the source audio is carried into the output at the normal compatible audio settings.
Can I reset all controls?
Choose the Neutral preset to return brightness, contrast, and saturation to 100%, with grayscale, sepia, and hue rotation at zero.
Does the preview match the exported adjustment?
The preview and encoder share the same ordered CSS filter builder and current values. The preview is a fast browser representation; exported frames permanently contain those adjustments.
